Veula is the home of all birds of prey, including eagles, falcons, owls, secretarybirds, and vultures. Corvids (being passerine birds) do not live in Veula, instead calling Garzes their home. Veula has the greatest military might of the whole continent and is currently the only nation which still engages in limited trade with the northern nations by way of submarines.
