Speakers are the highest caste of the draconics apart from demiwyrms and dragons themselves. Speakers will arise from any partnership wherein the biological father is a dragon, apart from those between a dragon and another dragon. This will hold true regardless of whether this partnership is between a dragon and a fae, a dragon and a demiwyrm, a dragon and a speaker, or even a dragon and a sape. Speakers may also arise from partnerships between speakers, or partnerships between speakers and demiwyrms where the father is a speaker.

Speakers are, other than dragons who are over 5,000 years old, the most powerful mages in Mersia.
