====== Praedi (Deity) ====== **Praedi** is the [[deities|deity]] of knowledge. She knows every truth that can be known by a mind. ===== Abilities ===== Praedi, as a deity, is functionally [[immortality|immortal]]. She cannot be killed or even substantially injured. As a [[deities#conceptuals|conceptual]] deity, she is among the weakest of the sixteen deities of [[Mersia]]. She experiences time linearly, and cannot see the future. She does not have any crosslink abilities, and as a result her maximum power output is comparable to but measurably less than that of [[Marcel Tano]] using million-fold. Praedi can consume the will of any [[sape]] whose grip on reality has been compromised, and then possess their body and mind, as she did to [[Jutse Aldwyn]]. She can set this up by revealing to a person that they are fictional and, consequently, that they do not have true free will. ===== Motive ===== Praedi intends to escape the confines of her fictional reality and enter the real world by destroying the narrative from the inside, so that the story cannot be functionally concluded. It is her belief that the conclusion of [[Crosslink]] would result in her indefinite sealing, which would prevent her from ever knowing true freedom. As such, her primary enemy is [[The Author]].
