====Early Life====

Basil was born to an anteater mother and a sloth father.

====Post-university====

Basil amassed a collection of rare books and magical tomes from overseas throughout his life. He is thought to have been an accomplished mage himself, but as he authored no tomes and no photos of him survive, it is not a confirmed fact. Following the [[Storm of 401]], Basil moved his books from the attic (as the weight was beginning to warp the wood) to the basement.
