| | Due to the fact that speakers can maintain their own populations with no dragon present and are more than powerful enough to protect themselves without the protection of a dragon, there are villages of speakers entirely disconnected from society as a whole. Such villages are called 'isolates' and are generally avoided by younger dragons, as these villages are actively hostile toward us and will kill us given the opportunity. |
